ahem, ahem,...I can tell you've never dealt with such
things as "Perl" and "Tcl/TK". These should be running on
UNIX, maybe they have MSFT clones. I can do 1/2 hours
worth of work, what takes sys adm all week to get their
maintenance programs to run right. Some of those crashes
could be due to the "inefficient programming side", the
NT servers. First thing I'd do if I had to start working
one of those is slap on a LINUX OS and go from there.
I'd at least be able to tinker with the OS.<g>
