It is VERY bearish for the stock. I suspect, (no way for me to confirm it), that other big sellers will follow the lead of the insiders and VCs and will dump shares. For every few shares of float in AMZN, you can expect that 1 will be created on paper because of short selling. That will increase that number to as much as 4 million additional shares chasing after investors dollars. Combined with an Internet sector that is stretched near its limits, the chance of a pull-back is looking pretty good. I am mostly looking at the TA to determine when to buy or sell. Right now it looks like a sell regardless of the newly registered shares.

One of us lazy web surfers should take a look at the recent fed filing to confirm the date the shares become available for trading - anyone know off the top?
