Hi, I am fed up with my broker and need a new broker. Here are my priorities in order of importance: (1) Great execution on option spreads and complex trades. (2) Reasonable margin requirements. Requiring $50 margin to sell a naked put at strike 50 is not reasonable. Nor is it reasonable to see if they can borrow a stock to short or expect a 35% margin on it, if I specify that trade as a day trade. (3) Access to hard to come by short stocks. (4) Fast response. I don't use a web account and I don't want to wait 20 minutes to get the trade done. (5) Good margin rates (i.e. the interest charged) (6) Low commissions. You notice that the costs are not as important as getting what I want. Please send me a private message as I rarely read this thread anymore. Thanks Sun Tzu P.S.
