Yeah, I forgot to mention that the NT SGI machines will be using
the INTC chips. This is my understanding.

MIPS chips will still be around, but I'm not sure for what...
maybe cellular phones?

Tim,

Microsoft has a POSIX compliant subsystem in windows NT and it's still there!... go check the product literature.. if you like I can dig some up and point you to it.

As for the support for the PPC and MIPS.. I stated in my post to Joe that NT wasn't developing for those platforms anymore, but I know that at least teh PPC binaries are still shipping on the CDs at this time.
