I think they have to split 3 for 1. This way Bill Gates would have about 1,5000,000,000 shares. That would be a nice Xmas present to all of us. Thank you Bill Cringle. (DOJ is the bad "Newt"Grinch. The DOJ case will go the same way as the Clinton impeachment, it will fizzle out. Ba ra bing Ba ra boom.

PAL:
"I would not be surprised if MSFT is about to announce a split."

I would like to see that but will not expect it to happen unless stock reach $130 to $140 area and sometime after the current antitrust suit. If things went well, perhaps split announcement would occur by end of 1st or 2nd quarter 1999.

Sam

PAL,

MSFT will not be splitting anytime soon. Gates does not like the stock to trade below $75 at a minimum. Until it does base, or will blow through 150 on the news of a split, it won't happen. Check your history.

Regards,

G
