When you say "at least twice as fast", I assume you mean they are taking less than half the time to complete. Assuming that's the case, I'm getting GOOD, but not quite that good, results. I have 2 sets of scans, one scans the entire database of securities, the other scans the results of the first scan.

On the first set, this new beta runs about 1.78 times as fast. (It takes about 56% of the time it used to.)

On the second set, the new beta runs about 1.42 times as fast. (It takes about 70% of the time it used to.)

In any case, everything installed fine; both my virtual and non-virtual directories updated as they should have; even my metastock composites remained intact.

Incidentally, someone had told me they needed to run the downloader to get MS to recognize the current day's composite data after they ran QP2. I somehow escaped this event; it's always worked just fine for me, even prior to this beta.

Hi Brooke,

I didn't really think it was QP3, but for lack of another name, I went with that for my note to Bob.

I've been reading your posts about the faster scans. This is great, and I can't wait to get my hands on it. Hopefully, soon.
