Announcement today: See Kevin's post at #24586. It is big news. Jenkins talked about it briefly in the Sept. conference call when he said plans were afoot to offer help to small factory owners. He also talked about plans to offer help to building management companies, and mentioned selling "Building Y2K" to a property manager with several thousand properties. I dimly recall from early research on factory floor Y2K that there are something like 100,000 factories in the US that have potential embedded chip problems. Today's announcement is a way for those tens of thousands that TAVA hasn't time to assess to get access to the database. How much cash can one database generate?
