art, I'm really in left field here.

You say "APR 1.5 billion for 20% of Fox. " My research shows APR to be into motors, machinery, etc with annual revenues of only 200 million. Research shows Fox going public the week of Nov. 9th with
85 million share at $21 - $24 per share. Good luck to fox unloading
85 million at that price. Fox's best performance is a loss of 176 million on revenues of 7 billion. Somewhere GIC must play in this picture. It's their box and remote that has the IATV buttons. This entire thing must develop into something much bigger. Similar to
TCIVA connections with TCOMA, ATHM, GIC. APR confuses me???????
The only impact I can see for this IPO to affect IATV is that if
FOX acquires IATV once they're public. They still need GIC for synergy and probably ATHM. Then there's the whole video streaming thing. I can only guess Fox is taking on the current icons 'head to head'

<<art, we'll get there yet! Who funds FOX 1.5b for 20%?>> Also, satellite is not ready for video on demand, a requirement for this service. Does anyone know how many cable set tops are in place with this capability. It should basically be the same number that offer cable Internet service. On the service end, like fox, they will need incredible amounts of storage to allow for each subscriber to view upon demand. Maybe the reason for the IPO. To generate capital.
I didn't think this capability would be in place for several years,
but I don't profess to be an expert. Maybe one out there can clear
the air. I think for satellite it will take one of those $2400 boxes
that allow wide bandwidth access for bi-directional communication.
Once again, serious storage on the satellite end. I'd love to think
this isn't a 2002 stock, but still looks that way to me. Of coarse
I feel the same about Internet and look at them. They're just as
far from video streaming as T.V., but I guess this current dinosaur
generates income. We should be talking with a window on the T.V. or
pc monitor with video, not this antiquated keyboard junk. <ggg> Yahoo
$152! I just can't get over it. ????? Larry
