You are opposed to President Bush's "thousand points of light" program, which simply recognized charitable organizations, people etc which cared about their community and donated time and money to help others?

That's a strange viewpoint, to be opposed to recognition and encouragement of charities.

Do you slam the door on Girl-Scout cookie sellers?
