Volume is probably the shares that exited yesterday to buy GERN, coming back in...:o)

Gern got me to #20 (psiumoon) on the November Yahoo challenge...go figger...

I still think a lot of it is a technical correction. If news follows, great. Fwiw, my perspective on TA.

20expBBands had narrowed down to about 3/8x9/16, as tight as I've seen them since owning CNKT. The top band has started to rise; first time since late August. Narrowing of the bands is usually followed by a break out whose direction is determined by other indicators.

Chaikin O has moved back up through zero w/confidence and the decent volume.

CCI8 stands around 180. Highest level since early May, which saw the last of the 3 great pennants. This is a definite break from their downtrending channel the last 7-8 months. I would expect this to correct to some extent on Monday. Price should follow, but expect support around 7/16.

Dahl's continues a steady climb.

Donchian's in the second day of a crossover to positive territory. Need more background on this one, as the impact of the crossover is minor. Not sure how this correlates to additional potential price advance.

MACD9 took another gradual turn up and continues towards the ever-resistant zero line.

Momentum showing another fresh high.

MFI8 stands ~57%, advancing, but taking into account the actual market value in it's conservative advance.

OBV10 barely ticked up, but still at its bottom.

PSAR on an uptrend, but barely visible at these low prices. Nothing to figure in.

PFE on 2nd day rising, but still well below previous runs.

Pring's is positive, but fairly flat...?

RSI8...cool...nice run to ~67%, about even w/the peak we saw around Independence Day, but not oversold to the levels of the Spring pennants. I like this, as it has room to run, or oscillate, carrying the price with it, showing available upside.

Combo-StochRSI trends still advancing. No big impact from today's action. Also good, since it allows for more upside.

14,3,3expStoch O, same as the combo.

TRIX slope slightly steeper the last two days, and still running up towards zero. Current pace should put it there in 2 weeks. A sustained cross up over zero is good.

Ultimat O with a fresh peak.

So what's all that crap mean? As I mentioned before, it's a continuation of some meek trend reversals that started 2-3 months ago. I'd still label all the advances as tentative, despite my optimism. I like the numerous fresh highs I see on the oscillators and their break above the channels established over the last 8 months or so. The trenders are advancing slowly, but advancing nonetheless. I'd like to see this behavior continue as the price advances (duh) since the more realistic price the price becomes, the more weight all the statistics carry.

I don't have a target in mind. But lotsa folks thought is was worth a lot more up until very recently. A majority of those (institutions) still do as is evidenced by their not exiting (this recent absence of 144 sell notifications factored heavily into my decision to by more recently). I will continue to watch the TA & SEC filings for clues.

It's a critical time fundamentally for CNKT. A great deal more competition exists over when they got started. My feel for the comparative quality of their products is based on my respect for their clients. The growing presence of shareware threatens. I feel they need to land additional clients which will significantly bear out their viability.

PS - OT:WAVX. I'll try to sneak a peak before Monday. LB

Institions should be about 8.9M off from the May count of 9.9M, due to Stark's sales. of the 12.9M OS, that's just shy of 70%. Still very healthy. Last I saw, insiders hold around 260K, around 2%. Note the SEC DEFR14A of 1 May 98 is duplicative, somehow...Promod Hague is Norwest's man. That same share count appears for them and was recently reassigned to John Whaley. I haven't checked, but assume Rory O'Driscoll is BankAmerica's rep, as those two sharecounts in the filing are identical.

Hope this clears up the questions regarding who owns how much. One has to remember that the profile info found on most stock sites is highly suspect, as whoever is compiling that info certainly can't have the time to dig through the filings for every security file they market.
