Fast's blue appears to be a cutting edge video product and what kind of INTC CPU does is use to do all it can do. None. It needs a codec, a couple Trimedias, but INTC silicon not needed. I don't know about AVID. The Dvx family enables a lot that a fast CPU can't do. Some people that in the past wrote apps for x86 are now writing for CUBE silicon. When other people start expending their brain power and capital to flesh out your silicon it must be a good feeling. John, CUBE/DIVI were all over the IBC convention. We'll see what comdex brings very soon. I was wondering where the cable modem tech would come from. I guess Zenith could supply that also.
