Re: the sweet, standard.. Zip drives are an easy sell, we're putting them in around 50 % of our systems and that's for an added charge of $79.95. A savvy buyer can now pick one up in the $50.00 range, I'm guessing that the OEM's must be buying these in the $35.00 Range I think we'll have a 200/250 meg Zip announcement coming out of COMDEX. The reasons why I say this is the apparent discontinuance of Jazz I with price drops for Jazz II ( Jazz I is too close in size to Zip 200/250 ) The other reason is the price decreases that we're seeing on the ATAPI Zip 100. I expect price points of around $159.00/$179.00 for Zip 200/250 with media in the $14.00 range. Couldn't help but check out the action today, it was a massive ( pre-announced, put fear in the longs ) short assault with the price, down 5/16ths, IMO no big deal. That kind of effort IMO should have dropped us to the 7.5 to 8.0 range. Was that a concerted effort with Herb slamming and the burrito belching ? Is it big boys moving in and soaking up shares, 32 mil shares traded WOW! They did stop the advance but I wonder how many more shares are short, sitting on a powder keg of good news. The shorts didn't get their money's worth did they. Kind of reminds me of AOL when they changed their business model. I was shorting them at $30.00, didn't think they were going anywhere but the street sure did like it. The street likes the new CEO, noticed on CNBC the analyst giving a buy rating sighting the new CEO as part reason. On CNBC a buy rating from analyst and from what I read there was a second given later in the day. This isn't right, this doesn't happen on CNBC, something's up. Looks like institutions are getting in and supporting their purchases. Staying long IMO this guy keeps going up. All JMO Regards Reseller
