Any opinion how big the earnings share of the apple store-in-store business is. Or is it only that CPU receives some royalties for the apple venture?

As for the dominance of Intel based machines, my guess is that CPU is not that dependent on selling apples.

This is not to say that Macs were horrible machines. However is - CPU is a discounter and therefore will concentrate on low-cost, no hazzle business.

Street talk in Europe is that Apple is not doing so well as purported and the IMac story is well exaggerated.

This should be required reading by all small investors - particularly those that are wondering why shorting stocks in the current market is akin to peeing into a hurricane.

went to the San Rafael cpu store on saturday[grand opening weekend]--employees said that their store either came close or did establish a one day record for sales on friday--us northern californian's seem to like cpu....redwood
