I think the posting people here are trying to talk this stock down
so they can buy at the low.
What do earnings matter? Look at AOL or YAHOO and what they sell for! Where are their earnings?

Don't get me wrong Marty, I'm ecstatic about this breakthrough... As far as investing goes, I'm only in this to make enough money to retire by 35. From an investing standpoint, I could care less about who or what the company does or doesn't do, all I want is some "COIN" in my pocket. From a personal standpoint, I couldn't be happier with this news albeit years from becoming fully integrated into the health industry. I can just imagine all the wonderful lives it could save or at least make many lives happier and more enjoyable. You see, this news is of great importance to me because my wonderful daughter (12) has Cerebral Palsy and is a quadriplegic. Her CP is very rare in the fact that there are 2 holes in her brain that never developed... there are no cells here, they never developed, never will.... unless some major breakthrough like this becomes reality. Then and only then will my daughter be able to fully experience the many splendors life has to offer. Don't get me wrong, I love her just as she is... it is just that I know there are many activities that she would like to be able to do that her CP limits. So you see, I am very very glad to see some progress in this field.

However, from an investing viewpoint, GERN will not hold an increase in share price in the $20-30 range unless some more funding is put into this through backing from a major Biomed Co. like Merck or PFE. Bottom line (IMHO) this stock will trade with high volatility from $12-27.00 during the next week eventually leveling off around the $8-9.00 range.

Take care and good luck to ALL!!!

CB

One more thing, I think that the research is great and I hope that maybe someday my kids or their kids can benefit from the actual results of such discoveries but the one thing I do know is that most likely GEron will have nothing to do with it and nothing warrants a market cap of 200 million dollars without a dime of revenue coming in...I also am sure that The majors will do their own research and replicate and surpass any thing that GERN can or has done...They let them do the legwork so they can just use it to win the prize ,..GERN has no monopoly or exclusivity over the human body , it's tissues and or cells.. There is nothing that indicates that a better company cannot duplicate past research and or improve upon it.

People seem to forget that Scientists still have ZERO ability to trigger what kind of cells these can grow in to..It could be this or that but right now it is nothing...We are talking years of additional research...in the meantime the stock should be a buck or less.
