hybrids currently exist and the mileage/emissions combination can be awesome. In some cases, the limiting factor is refueling infrastructure. In a pinch, having your kid's little red wagon will do just fine. Or in the winter, a "Flexible Flyer". If the company were serious about being serious, they would have somebody like....ehhhhh...Smith Barney sell a couple million shares for them.then they would not be a bb stock and would have some dough to create a real product. many firms can get a patent or license one, producing and marketing a product is just a tad tougher. then you have to get someone to buy the product.
