Thank you Craig, Ummmm, it sure tastes good!! Hmmmm, I promised the San Antonio attendees that I would post a synopsis of what I see as the relevant indicators, parameters and conditions concerning the elusive comkey. First of all I have to bow to its elusiveness and state that even though the 3 dRSI paste is huge, the current status of predicting such via TA is still a bit beyond my grasp. HOWEVER, the search has not been entirely in vain in that what we have accomplished toward that end so far has yielded a technical profile type that kicks butt. CCI stuff: 13 d above 0 and rising 3 d above 0 and rising...often the 3 pops over 100 on the hit day. stochastics stuff: %K within 7% of %D on the 13, 8, 8 OR %K above 70 and rising while above %D 3 dRSI min at 70 (max 95) 2 dRSI min at 65 (the min here appears to be able to filter out gaps the next day that are too large to want to chase) 8 dEMA 8dSMA xover MACD properly crossed and rising without the >0 requirement with an OR in there to catch a crossover in progress....use the same 7% solution as on the 13, 8, 8 stochs. 8 dMFI above 34 dMFI with the 34 dMFI rising The Time Series Forecast (TSF) may be used as a confidence builder. Parameters are a cross of the 3 dTSF over the 5 dTSF (using closes) The TSF xover, the MFI xover and the 8 dEMA 8 dSMA xovers often lead the other signals by 2 to 4 days. As long as they are in place as the other conditions occur, confidence is high. I'll be working through my long term watch list this weekend to find stocks that meet these criteria in a timely fashion. Of course, if any of you scanmasters get there first...go for it! Doug R
