Talked to a guy at EB...he saw the Rage 128 and said it looked very good...no big deal, since everything coming out these days is pretty damned good- the problem is that it is ATI. They have the relationships while we have the technology. We need to build the relationships before they can close the gap in technology. I know, our next generation will be great...but I am talking about relationships now, so that we can build on them in '99. PS. several reports at EB of Banshees coming back due to driver issues. hope that is taken care of by now. In any event, they don't have any in stock... To everyone that dislikes nVidia (ME!) don't discount them as a major player in the OEM market. Sun, Patrick- whatever models you use for '99, make sure that 40% GM is not among them. I just don't see us being able to be big enough to do a bil in sales and maintain 40% gm. Sun, glad to see VISX working out for you...also glad PRXL working out for me! But I gotta say that I LOVE STBI, BABY!
