Speaking of being wise, I notice that many analysts, both on this thread and in the real world, continue to characterize Iomega as a "one product company."

The very thing that makes me believe this company has a chance of pulling off its second turnaround of this decade is the fact that new products are about to ship. Moreover, from the announcement about the review of Nomai being completed, we can glean the information that the company will expand its product line further, making forays into optical media, etc.

Even if Iomega hasn't made money in 1998, they have continued to increase brand-name recognition. That could turn out to be one of the best things they ever did for their long-term shareholders.
