GZ:

"The Russell 2000 small-cap index is up 26.7% from its 12-month low on Oct. 8, through Wednesday. That's the biggest 20-day increase since the inception of the Russell index in 1979, says the Tacoma, Wash.-based Frank Russell Company.

The previous record was 23% in January 1991. That spike began a record-setting year for the Russell in which the benchmark gained 46.1% during the calendar year. Mutual funds invested in small companies in 1991 averaged a whopping 51.8%."

>>>and the big Kahuna might just be an explosive upward Kahuna after all.<<<

GZ, I think yuu right - We already had the down Kahuna. On the NYSE we pushed above the August tops last week and retested and jumped off them.

I know your knot into elliot -g-, but I believe we could have and extended fifth wave up, if you count wave 4 ending 10/28.

We are in a rally off the 9 month cycle, similar to the rallies off 4/12/97 and 1/12/98. This sucker is way overbought, but the only pullbacks are flat days -g-

I believe now that we did have the 4/8 year cycle low on 10/8 and even had a 24 year cycle low. In 1974 Nixon resigned. In 1998 Newt is out.

I do believe we will have a nice pullback after this move, however I dont' think it would be prudent to go short (unfortunately I did a little last week -g-) until we break the uptrendline off the lows.
