I agree with most of your sentiment and most of us here fully agree the money will be made shorting the top. The strategy is the easy part. The hard part is figuring out where the top is. <g>

I got caight short when the cut came and didn't find out until the market was closed so had to cover on the open the next day. I am just now getting even again from that mess. I have been watching numerous short candidates for puts but until the top is in, it is a dangerous game as it seems even the worst run companies are running and most times, they are leading the charge. That is what tells me this is not going to last. The biggest money makers are lagging this charge and the weak are out front. Reminds me of the Korean war mass wave attacks. Send out the peasants armed with shovels and pick axes, then send out a second wave of semi trained civilians armed with knives and swords, last wave has the real soldiers with the guns. By the time the 3rd wave gets to the enemy lines, the enemy has run out of ammo. The trick with catching this top will be to keep plenty of powder dry and in reserve.

Good Luck,

Lee
