Comdex pay-per-view Webcast pitched

Every event, workshop and speech at the year's biggest computer
industry's biggest trade show will be available on the Internet --
for a fee -- after the show closes. VStream Inc. said Friday it
will Webcast events from the fall Comdex show after Dec. 1 to
paying subscribers who will receive Web access to all sessions of
the Comdex technology conference, e-Business Program and InFocus
Program. Keynote, PowerPanel and SuperSessions. VStream suggested
the delayed-Webcast is a way to catch up on events for people who
may have scheduling conflicts. The subscription offering prices
vary, depending how long a user wants access and whether they
attended the show. The range is from $7 for one day's access for a
conference attendee to $299 for six months' use by someone who did
not attend. Comdex begins Nov. 16 in Las Vegas. As many as 220,000
attendees are expected, to be hosted by 2,400 exhibitors.
