Hi,

Rising interest rates in the U.S. over the last month has kept gold from following gold stocks as these higher rates keep the U.S. dollar from falling. With the Dow hitting against upside resistance at 9000, the money should then return to the bond market and gold should resume upward slowly but surely.

But the question is, can a modest rally in gold prices push PFG higher? I don't like to use technical analysis on something as speculative as junior golds but the charts seems to indicate that. But fundamentally, Diablillos is already discounted as uneconomical, and it now relies on another possible discovery. Will La Colorada pan out? It seems that this is the only active project (drilling wise) at the moment with no other properties to be drilled within the next few months that can affect price movement. As an external factor, a large discovery by ARP could be beneficial to the junior mining sector and to the companies having projects in Argentina in particular.

Does anyone have a recent update on the drilling at La Colorada and when are those results expected to become public? Please feel free to comment on my analysis.
