As you pointed out, it is much easier to grow at a faster rate when you are smaller.

The primary reason why I don't give Yahoo much of a chance is that VERY FEW people are bidding or even looking in the Yahoo auctions.

Where I typically get about 200 people viewing one of my eBay auctions, I got less than 10 page views on a Yahoo auction.

I think the sellers would love to have another good auction outlet to tout their wares, and would flock to Yahoo's free auctions, IF Yahoo brought in the buyers.

Yahoo's auctions are like a mall with many stores and few buyers. Sure, the rent is cheap, but across the street, for a little more rent, is the eBay mall...
