'i2 will add $50 billion of value through growth & savings to our customers by 2005'-Sanjiv Sidhu,CEO i2 Technologies.

Hi Trufflette:

Excellent, thanks for posting the excerpts from Barrons.I am glad to hear that you on board,I have a feeling we will be well rewarded.

I am quite intrigued by Landis' comment about DELL and i2.

'Q: What else?

Landis: If you're impressed by what Dell has done with redefining the right way to run a business, then you can do a lot worse than to quit kicking yourself over not owning Dell and buy i2.'

Well I for one is very impressed by DELL and I am glad I don't have to kick myself for not owning either DELL or i2.<g>
How'bout you? You still own DELL?

Awesome combination in any portfolio I think.

i2 Customer Value report (in pdf format)

According to the report i2 created $1 billion in value in 1997 and +$3.5 billion in value in 1998 for its customers and according to Sanjiv i2 will create $50 billion in cumulative value for their customers by 2005 and that is something ain't it?

The analysts don't seem to mention that i2 is not for sale. A deal would have to be cut w/ Sidhu and other insiders to make a buyout feasible.
