Unixgeek: The beta overwrote my scans, too. The beta must have judged my scans to be expendable. When it encountered yours, it must have thought, "Hmmm, these are worth saving." If you do ever want to back up your scans, you can copy these files in the QP2data directory:

Q2scans.dbf
Q2scans.dbt
Q2scans.mdx

ON BETA erasing Custom Scans.

I am talking about installing the BETA over QP2 - and I did lose the scans on two machines doing it. Luckily I remembered to save them to diskette off the second machine which I had been using for a backup store for the Data up until now - so I really lost nothing much.

Installing QP2 upgrades over QP2 does not have this problem, merely the BETA overlay.

Sorry if I wasn't clear.
