I asked if you knew anything about the General Mills "Box Tops for Education" quite a while back. Late last year or early this year, just don't remember.

I'll withhold my comments about education since I: A) don't have children, B) pay property taxes, and C) would be grossly out numbered by an opposite sentiment.

However, in the effortless (or cashless if one prefers) charity catagory, the American Legion has been sponsoring a program called "Tabs for Tots". One saves the aluminum pull tabs from aluminum canned drinks and turns them into their nearest American Legion Post. The tabs are sold for the aluminum (I guess) and the money is used to buy hospital equipment for pediatric wards.

Not being prepared, I don't have a link, but one can go to their favorite search engine and type in: American Legion and Michigan.

Glad you're still alive. :-)

Stay well,
