If you are not a VERY Longterm holder of this stock you should be out or short,,,imo. After the excitement has passed in a few days, this stock will drift down, as it has done in the pass.(and how almost all bio-tech's have done). Will it be higher between now and the 8-10 years it will take to get this product off the ground.....probably...but it will be lower at some point too!

I bought puts on the open Friday and closed them friday afternoon, for a triple. If it pops again on Monday, i will short them again. Why? When you see 30 million shares traded against a 6 million float that is not institutions buying folks.....it's the momo guys...when they leave.....the air comes out.....it always does.

I don't know GERN and have no axe to grind.....if you are longterm...maybe the stock price doesn't matter.......but imo if you wait a week or two, you will be able to be longterm from lower!

Good Luck to All

Gemini:

I don't own any shares short of this stock. I wish I did and I might do it on Monday especially if it spikes up a little.
But I know exactly what I am talking about. it did the same thing in 1997. They released similar news and the stock more than doubled in a day. Within a month it was right back where it started from and soon it was a lot less. Anyone who wanted to buy is in now and there will be no one left to drive the price up.
Maybe you should learn from history. Let's see in a month where the price is. Then we can discuss this again.

>>>>>hoffy,

You don't have a clue as to what you're talking about. Get
your "short" hands on today's Investor's Business Daily and
read its excellent write-up starting from Page 1. Some of

Gemini. I guess I do know a little bit about how GERN would trade. I told you that the first thing this morning would be the best chance to sell GERN at only a minor loss. There is no more buying pressure here. Every rally is met with people trying to sell and get some money back. It'll be under 10 within 2 weeks. Sad that some people lose money on these incredible story stocks but it always happens. The best thing to learn here is that once the story breaks it is too late to get in and once it starts to fall it is time to get out, whether it is for a gain or a loss.
