Congrats on joining MBT

Rick, thanks! I look forward to seeing how MBT works. In response to another useful post that warned about over-trading, my own self-imposed damper on this problem is the nightly task I face of manually entering all of these daytrades into Quicken (the grim prospect of having to do this works wonders for overenthusiasm).

Also, I've been using Signal Online for awhile, and that created its own temptation for a trading frenzy, which I think I've managed to corral.

You might have seen my post to bede about Ross Ditlove's recommending I go for UUNET ISDN service to improve my data flow and eliminate the problems I had with quotes freezing. I am looking into that now and will let you know if I get it hooked up.

Yes, I saw your post and I am hoping that a direct UUNET connection will help you. It is always better to stay on the same backbone whenever possible.

Best,
Gary Korn

Rick,

Keep in mind that you don't have to sign up with UUNET directly; you can do OK by choosing a quality ISP who uses UUNET as their primary backbone vendor.
