Paradyne's DSLAM is a multi services platform; MS-DSL, RADSL, MVL, etc. Certainly the MVL modem on the card in the DSLAM has to talk to an MVL endpoint. Although MVL is a proprietary line code, it is also built on a commercially available DSP. MVL takes up very little of the processing power therefore lends itself to all sorts of new and innovative capabilities. They have about 44 patents on the technology to date. You will be hearing a lot more about successes with this product.... Maybe Paradyne and Westell should have a chit chat about this stuff....? Wouldn't hurt.... Regards Mike
