Thank you to the complainers. I am currently in the process of shopping for a broker and Datek was at the top of my list. Due to the kinds of problems I see posted here, Datek is no longer at the top of my list and I won't be going near them until I see evidence that they are turning things around. I hope Datek's problems can be fixed as they get a lot of praise for their short list and access to Nasdaq ECN's at a low cost. I think the reason for a lot of the screaming on this thread is that people realize Datek is a good deal and are reluctant to leave. Brad
