Rick,

I've been studying the L2 action for some time now and am only beginning to get a feel for it. In the beginning, this was my biggest false interpretation:

FALSE: a large number of buyers lined up on the left with a small number of sellers on the right means that the stock is about to go up because there are more buyers than sellers. (Many of the "tutorials" make this claim.)

TRUE: There is a backlog of buyers NOT willing to raise their bid. All the sellers have bailed out and are not showing up in the backlog queue. This is especially true when there is a rush of trades at bid.

Any good observations like this you can add would be helpful to us all... Volunteers, anyone?
