I wonder why the best ones come back as cows?? Ever wonder about the "holy cows". If I had been so good in a previous life and then whoever decided what I would be next said "cow" I'd stomp his foot, then he'd say okay "catholic priest", I'd say no way and stomp his other foot. E, I would imagine you don't respect Christianity because it requires surrender of believers' wills to their God. I believe in individual existential responsibility and you consider me cruel. You described a scenario, you asked my opinion, I gave my opinion, you are insulted by my opinion. What do you believe? What is the "WHY" in "Why things happen?" I am sorry to hear about your daughter. You gave an excellent response that shows that you are a strong and secure person. I have a younger brother that is retarded and is paralyzed on his right side as a result of his rolling off of the couch onto an oilcan that jabbed into his brain alongside of his eye when he was just a few months old. My parents not only had a daily visual reminder of his handicap, but also a nagging feeling that this was a punishment for something that they had done in the past. Del
