Valueman, it is with considerable pain that I must inform you that your response has been reported to THE AUTHORITIES and that you can expect frightful retribution.
Clear, expository writing is strictly forbidden under the code of ethics of the Securities and Exchange Commission--something that I thought you of all people should have known.
Stop for a moment and consider the potential consequences if security analysts, chief executive officers, chief financial officers, and portfolio managers suddenly regressed to employing PLAIN ENGLISH. My God--people would actually understand what other people were saying and then be in a position to make investment decisions based on the clarity of the communication.
