The impeachment decision will be given to the American people in a few
short weeks. Whether to impeach Clinton or not will become the major
issue of the campaign. Once this becomes clear, the people will come out to vote for Democrats.>>

My only disappointment is that Newt has resigned. That worries me. The reactionary right might be going back to their old trick of pretending to be moderate to get votes. My hope is that Rush Limbaugh's argument prevails -- be proud of the conservative agenda, advance it at every election, don't back down on any issue.

As long as right wing speaks plainly, the voters will reject them, just as they reject the lunatic fringe of the left.

As Harry Truman observed, there's a lot of good sense in the common people. They certainly can see through a political conspiracy such as Jones and Starr and their backers have put on. And they know that, whatever his faults, a good president is worth keeping and supporting.
