OT: Re SCO. Joe as close friend of mine who is a programmer has been long scoc for over a year now. FWIW he says it's very undervalued. SCO could be a small cap worth watching. BTW here's a recent snip from the SGI thread:

"This article was posted on Infoworld on Friday.
The graphics performance of SGI's new Intel/NT
box is quite impressive for a NT machine.
3.2 Gbps of graphics memory bandwidth and a 256
bit wide memory bus. First time I have seen these
figures.

infoworld.com

Now, can they sell the thing cheap enough. The article
says they will have a cheaper Pentium II series as well
as a Xeon series."

SGI is up over 50% off their low in the past month ( a little more and I'll be even<G>). I'm really hoping that they can produce and properly market a wintel box with a big enough difference from the norm to boost their bottom line. I'm counting on SGI's ability to do some truly proprietary stuff with their graphics chip sets that compaq dell hwp can't claim to match.Do you think this is likely, or will Dell simply knock them out one month later at 2/3 the price? I'd be interested on your thoughts on this.

thanks
