HYDE is a politician trying to look like Pontious Pilot(sp?).....He had better stop and listen to da people and stop believing that Starrs Report is and event that has to be followed through in "DA PROCESS"....with da persecutors under infestagation he should remove da report as a document of worth....its a document of pornography and if he continues to support it then... HYDE will Continue to SLIDE.....

Hi, Dwight, or should I call you Christian Dwight from now on, you old pursurer of the truth, you!!! I agree with you. Newt did the classic "fall on your sword" and I think he will gain respect for it eventually. He has had a wonderful career and has accomplished great things for the Republican party. We gained the Majority because of him so we really owe him a lot. It's just a shame that the press so demonized him. Even if you go back to when the major magazines had Newt's picture on their cover, they went out of their way to make him look as mean as they could. Remember the cover story after the government shutdown "The Grinch that stole Christmas" and the worst picture of Newt you could ever imagine when it was actually Clinton that was the Grinch. It looked like a mug shot of Newt! Oh, the liberal media will NEVER be complimentary of Mr. Newt!!! You should get some of his training tapes from "Renewing America". They are terrific! I've followed Newt for many years, long before many knew who he was. He made some GREAT speeches on the floor of the House over the years and I learned a lot about Government through him. I hope he will still be active in teaching up and coming GOPers in the future. I'm sure the press and the spinners are looking for dirt right now on any Republican's name that has been mentioned as a part of the new leadership! Don't EVER expect a friendly press of the GOP! Salon magazine almost put themselves out of business by trying to destroy Hyde so the press may have shot their wad on that one already!
