Agree that indices should be able to be removed from scan, but do the few seconds count? Richard, I do a prescan as you recommended earlier and it is only within the prescan that the indices are checked. After the formation of the prescan.lst, they never show up again. I know that it only takes a few seconds, but people are saying how fast the new update is and at the same time something like this is overlooked. I was just hoping that I had overlooked something simple but it seems that is not the case. Thank you for your help. --- webb ---
