"I wonder if there is ONE Democrat out there willing to share their party vision of the future?"

Michael, I personally am a registered Democrat. I could have registered as an Independent, but in the states where I have lived, Independents cannot vote in a primary. Therefore, it made more sense to me to register as a Democrat, so that I could at least participate in choosing the party's nominees.

But being registered in a party does NOT commit one to voting for its nominees when the general election rolls around. In fact, I know plenty of registered Democrats who routinely vote for Republican candidates, and vice versa.

In short, I do not have a "party vision of the future". That is, I cannot speak on behalf of the party. I do have some ideas about the direction I might wish the party to go in, but that does not mean that it will.

P.S. That jab about Dan's "8th grade dictionary" is unworthy of you.

What names have I called anybody, in particular, Michael? Primarily, I throw back names others have used on me. Ok, so I called JLA a loon, I've lost count of the personal ad hominem ad nauseum names he's sent my way. He's gotten in a bit of a rut lately with this highly intelligent "missy" business, though. I've made an exception here and there, I might make one for you too, you puerile little guttersnipe, if you choose to follow the substantial debate style of Mr. K., JLA, and company.

Democratic party vision? They've been all over the place. All I know is that whatever they come up with has to beat the Kristol/ Starr/ Bork/ Lott/ RR "Christian Nation" governmental reformation. That one leaves out a lot of people, mercifully it looks like too many for it to go much farther than it has. I wouldn't have much to be sarcastic about with Republicans if the alleged Libertarian wing Newt was supposed to be in was anywhere in sight these days.
