Craig, please be careful, when your wife, who knows you all too well and all too long starts calling you a 'visionary'--well, she may be tryng to distract you and hide something from you-). "Visionary" should last be used quite early in the dating process to mean anything.

George, Yes, Ancor has had more than their share of hard luck too. Your recollection is correct. If I recall, it was an interoperability problem between Emulex's adapters (lack of Class 1/SCSI support) and a bug in HP's Tachyon chip (sinced fixed). A strange combination of events, but that particular combination ended up being a problem. I also think Sequent just ran out of time. They wanted to ship the NUMA systems, and couldn't wait any longer. Luck has a way of turning around, though, and we are certainly due. <g> Craig
