Craig, please be careful, when your wife, who knows you all too well and all too long starts calling you a 'visionary'--well, she may be tryng to distract you and hide something from you-). "Visionary" should last be used quite early in the dating process to mean anything.

Yes, Ancor has had more than their share of hard luck too. Your recollection is correct. If I recall, it was an interoperability problem between Emulex's adapters (lack of Class 1/SCSI support) and a bug in HP's Tachyon chip (sinced fixed). A strange combination of events, but that particular combination ended up being a problem. I also think Sequent just ran out of time. They wanted to ship the NUMA systems, and couldn't wait any longer.

Luck has a way of turning around, though, and we are certainly due. <g>
