The Concepts in the book are great. Their explanation of Cisco made me make cisco my #1 investment. Just hold the big Gorillas and Kings. I am down to Cisco, and the two Kings, AOL and Dell.

Frank,

I don't understand your perspective.

You mention "But saying they 'simply don't have the discipline and the time to devote to the day-to-day management of a stock portfolio' isn't very acceptable from someone I just paid to tell me how to invest my (hard earned) money!" Is it that all the authors whose books you buy maintain web sites and hypothetical portfolios?

Besides, I've yet to communicate with anyone who subscribes to the authors' investment thesis that their online portfolio tested. Instead, the people I'm in touch with who read the book appreciate it more as way to identify potentially great companies.
