Rush should learn from Ronald Reagan, who chastened the Democrats for blaming the American people for their profligate spending in the late seventies. In fact, most conservative commentators have fallen into the same trap. They blame the people for not marching lock-step with them! Other than that, while I admit that I'm biased because I am a moderate, I find Rush to be a bit of a pea-brain. There are a lot of conservative commentators that are worth listening to, but he's not among them, Last week I heard him predict Clinton's resignation because Clinton, like Nixon before him, had witnessed a Cape Canaveral launch. Really, that kind of thinking doesn't merit a serious audience.
