Be careful. Broadcast industry is having one of its worst quarters ever. Lots of capital purchases on hold. AVID may not have the kind of 4Q you are hoping it will have. RTNDA did not result in a lot of buyers. Many tv stations are waiting to see what will shake out (AVID.. Tektronics.. Panasonic... Sony).

I think AVID is undervalued and once the AVID-TEK merger is announced, AVID will be in an exceptional position... but don't kid yourselves. AVID is struggling.

By the way, Symphony is just one of severalhot new non-linear editors to hit the market this year.

Respect your opinion, but i have close friend in AVID corporate. Hope you are right - but i have to lean toward my info. I think we are in agreement that the 52wk high isn't far away though.
