Gorcon, generally, you would be able to get out on even a fast moving stock. But there are times when it won't work, like when the bid and ask get crossed, or mm's just step off or back away without filling on a really hot stock or massive dumper. In these situations, if you are not the very 1st to a particular mm, you will not get your fill, no matter what system you use. And when there are hundreds of traders scrambling to get a fill, chances are very slim you will be 1st. What makes it worse is, now mm's only have to put out 100 shares, so even if you are 1st, and want to trade a 1k block, you may end up w/900 left on the bid/ask as the price moves away from you. I have yet to find a system that handles these situations well.
