Wunnerful Ouija: Chapter One
I was ushered right in to Druss' office when when I arrived at Boiler Room Discount Brokerage. It was unusual. Usually, the secretary, a former swimmer for the East German swim team, would tackle me as I rounded her desk and put me in a half-nelson while Druss made a hasty exit out the side door. As I entered his office, I was struck by the resemblance that Druss bore to a deranged Charlie Manson. He did not rise, merely waved me to a seat in front of his desk. After I was seated, he threw a newspaper to me. I opened it up and read "SCAMSTER TIMES". He immediately started expressing outrage at the existence of such a rag...
Druss: Have you seen this rag before? It is entirely devoted to scams and every possible way of defrauding innocent people out of their hard earned money. The classified is filled with people offering to pump'n'dump stocks for every despicable shell in the country...for a fee.
lee: Yeah, That's pretty bad. There are all types of innocents out there that are prey for these people.
Druss started sputtering.."Pretty bad...PRETTY BAD? Do you have any idea what this means. Do you have any idea how much money some of those articles mention?
I was surprised by this benevolent side to Druss that he had never let me see. "Well, the SEC tries. Still, it seems that people will be parted from their money and there are some serious scumbags out there that are more than willing to help them."
Druss rose out of his chair. "Pump'n'dumps, serious fees for touting real trash, all manner of schemes to take money out of pockets of the inexperienced and unwary. Do you know what this means?"
I was beginning to wonder what all this had to do with me do I offered a weak, "No."
Druss was still sputtering and his eyes were starting to bulge. "What this means is that there is some easy prey to be fleeced and I am not doing ANY of it. Do you know how much I could make doing this. This is terrible!"
A terrible dawning was on me. "Druss, you can't be serious. Young investors. Old people. Widows and orphans. How could you cheat these people?"
I was chilled by his answer. "Probably more easily than I cheat everybody else. Why should I exclude them - it would be un-American."
I was getting really nervous. "What does this have to do with me?"
"You are going to help me set up a pump'n'dump arm to Boiler Room Discount Brokerage", he said. Then he gave me a smile that reminded me of a shark.
"Oh, no you do don't. Not in this lifetime...not me...huh uh...no way...never." He was crazy if he thought I would have any part of something like that. He threw some documents in my lap.
He said, "You will note that you gave me the right to assign stocks to your account when you entered the "Fish New Zealand Free" contest. Just check the fine print. You will also note some conformations to buy zitl @ 60 and ktel @ 72. I really need to assign them to someones account. Now, who could that be?"
My mind was spinning. Could this be happening? What type of person would do this...scratch that - this was Druss. Me...help Druss set up a pump'n'dump branch? No way.
He smiled and dropped another confirmation in my lap. ENMD @ 80.
I was sweating. My good name, er, slightly worn, er, well worn name. So what? So I would lose all my money. So what that I would lose my home? So what that I would lose EVERYTHING. So what that I was going to help him set up a pump'n'dump branch!!!!
Still, I uttered a very weak, "No."

Wunnerful Ouija: Chapter Two

Druss saw that I was still resisting despite the financial pressure that he had placed me under. He leaned forward and pressed an intercom button and said, "Olga, send in foxy. Again, he smiled that terrible smile. It was remarkable how he looked like Charles Manson.
The door opened and a sultry, voluptuous woman walked into the office. She batted her eyes at me and breathed, "Hi, I'm foxy."
"Uh-huh", I thought and started laughing.
Druss looked at me and snapped, "What's so funny?"
"This", I replied. "Surely, you aren't thinking of compromising me with this woman. You've met the wolf and you know that she knows that I am so scared of her that this is not possible."
Druss smiled that smile again and said, "No, I had something else in mind."
I laughed again. "Pictures to assassinate my character in my community? You know better. Back home my character has a plaque on the wall of the local ICU. Everybody already knows that I am a character."
Again, the smile. "Come with me," he said.
We walked out a doorway into an alley. Druss pointed at a '73 Pinto and said, "Get in the passenger side." I did so. foxy climbed into the drivers seat. Druss smiled the smile again. He looked at foxy and said, "foxy, take him out to 101 and back."
She left the alley and never looked either way. Tractor-trailer rigs were cut off. Corners were taken without slowing down. I had never witnessed such weaving in and out of traffic in my life, which flashed before my eyes several times. Eventually, we made it back to the offices of Boiler Room Discount Brokerage where we made a screeching stop. I continued to screech as Druss slipped a crowbar into the vehicle and deftly popped my fingers out of the dashboard and helped me from the car.
Druss said, "Now, about that help that I need. Will you do it?"
I was still shaking but managed to stutter, "N-n-n-no."
Druss smiled that smile and said, "No problem. I'll just have foxy drive you to the airport."
"I'll do it," I said...very clearly.

"After all he is a hypester." Is this a hypster that won't stop pestering? If so, then Dr. Demento fits.
