Humbly report, All, thought I'd take a look at the PINC President/Director Silvio Forigo this morning:

Silvio Forigo (President/Director) is currently CEO and Director of Heritage Ventures Ltd. and has been a founding member since 1988. Heritage Ventures Ltd. (HVL) was one of the first JCP approved on the Alberta Stock Exchange (ASE). Heritage is a technology based company that takes new high-tech products to market. Mr. Forigo has served as Director, President and CEO of a number of their public companies and has gained a sound knowledge of corporate restructuring, mergers and acquisitions.

Sounds good, so I thought I'd take a peek at Heritage ventures Ltd. (HLV.A) price and chart:

Oops, halted.

So, I wondered if there is a Heritage Ventures SI thread. Sure enough, and here is the reason for the halt - #reply-5962667 :

The Alberta Securities Commission issued a 15 day interim cease trade order against the company on Oct. 8, 1998, for failure to file certain financial information.

Here is a news release I've never seen before that may shed some additional light on the HVL.A/PINC relationship - #reply-3886960.

So I wondered how the PINC Executive Team is compensated. Well, here is the answer:

The Company's Officers and Directors serve without compensation at this time. No plan of compensation has been adopted or is under consideration at this time. None of the Directors currently receives, or has ever received, any salary from the Company in their capacities as such, and none are expected to be compensated in their capacities as such. No officers are expected to receive any compensation for their services. No officers or directors are under an employment contract with the Company. Each Officer presently devotes an insubstantial amount of time to the affairs of the Company. The Company has no retirement, pension, profit sharing, or insurance or medical reimbursement plans.

Seems to me there are two possibilities here. 1) The Executive Team is doing all this PINC work for free out of the goodness of their heart or 2) they plan to or are already selling PINC stock. I expect dilution posts here in the future that go something like this: #reply-3842317, #reply-3847110. Then I expect posts that go like this: #reply-4336068.

I believe the whole HVL.A thread is worth a read (only 71 posts) for anyone wondering how the PINC story will unfold, given the fact that Silvio Forigo is running both companies, and there is therefore little reason to think that he will do things differently at PINC.

Which reminds me, did anyone ever get the float numbers straightened out? Jeff asked about them a while back - #reply-6220379.

Oh, one more interesting tidbit. I noticed that coffeeman trial member was posting on the HLV.A thread:

For those too lazy to read the Heritage Technologies (HVL.A) thread, here's a glimpse of how pump and dumps work and a glimpse into the type of executive PINC president, Silvio Forigo, appears to be:

(7/5/97) - HVL.A is sued
TelAert previously commenced legal actions against Heritage and its
subsidiary Heritage Technologies Inc, claiming $2 million in damages and
other relief.
#reply-1708275

(9/29/97) - HVL.A is halted
I've noticed hvl.a has been halted, does anyone know why? #reply-2309241

(10/12/97) - Lawsuit settled
The terms of the settlement include a cash payment, a revised royalty and
licensing fee arrangement as well as the issuance to Heritage of shares in
TelAlert.
#reply-2426244

(3/12/98) - Stock makes dramatic rise on huge volume and no news, opening at .28, gettin as high as .48 intraday, and closing at .40. Just a few weeks prior the stock was at a mere .15. Most likely a debenture conversion.
My guess is a news release will be out soon. It always seems to follow the activity you referred to. #reply-3684076

(3/12/98) - Here's the alibi for the run, a letter of intent
Negotiations have been successfully completed with the Montreal based
rights holder to acquire the Canadian distribution rights for the millenium
compliance kit software package...
#reply-3693924

(3/24/98) - Enter the shill, Coffeeman, to sucker in new blood
Public Relations firm on board to give Heritage the Warren Buffet
Image... Major media blitz this week. Buy baby buy....
#reply-3825634

(3/25/98) - Here we learn of yet another "creative" financing deal
The company's board of directors has approved the issuance of up to
1,500,000 special warrants at $0.26.
#reply-3842317

(3/30/98) - Stock shows weakness, so time to announce an agreement has (finally) been reached
Heritage Ventures has signed an agreement for the rights to the Australian
made Millennium Bug Compliance Kit....Heritage Ventures signed the letter of intent with Rudy Rupak of Millennium Software Solutions, the North American rights holder, giving Heritage the exclusive rights to market and sell the software throughout Canada and the Northwest Territories.
#reply-3886960

(4/7/98) - Seems at least one investor got suckered by the Shill
Coffeeman, in your post (55) you said there was supposed to be a major media blitz - any idea what happened to that? I haven't heard very much. #reply-3989713

(4/8/98) - Shill applies classic delay tactic
I just talked to Management or who was there at the office. CFO said most of the people at the office are out of town on business. Decided to delay for a week. As Easter approaches could be a longer delay. I let you known when I hear more. #reply-3995507

(5/5/98) - Another month later, desperate investors still waiting for promised media blitz
Has anyone heard anything more about this so called media blitz that was supposed to take place before Easter. #reply-4336068

(6/5/98) - Nearly 2 1/2 months later, investors told to wait some more
Understand things got delayed and that there will be some news later in June... A bit of indirect news comes from the the Planet City Corp site (ie. that Planet City is negotiating for the Canadian rights to the Millennium package for which Heritage recently obtained the rights) #reply-4743193

June-October '98 - Stock continues to go straight down to .10 as company left for dead by management. President Forigo tries anew to fool American investors with PINC.

(10/8/98) - Stock gets halted
The Alberta Securities Commission issued a 15 day interim cease trade order against the company on Oct. 8, 1998, for failure to file certain financial information. #reply-5962667

(11/8/98) - Josef Svejk exposes the HVL.A - PINC connection
Humbly report, All, thought I'd take a look at the PINC President/Director Silvio Forigo this morning #reply-6335327

What's that expression about those who ignore history?
