>>I agree, no sign of SuperDisks on the Dell website. Either I had a bad dream or the mailer I saw might have been some kind of closeout of discontinued models?<<

John -

I just got a mailer from Dell myself. Two of them, in fact. Zip is featured prominently throughout them, and there is no sign of LS-120 or Superdisk. Just for fun, I went to the Dell web site and did a search for LS-120. Nothing. Then I searched on Superdisk, and got 10 hits on tech support documents. But they were talking about a floppy disk with drivers on it, named Superdisk because it helps save your computer when you have problems. Apparently this was something Dell used to supply with each computer.

I'm convinced that Dell doesn't now, and hasn't ever, sold the LS-120 or Superdisk either as an add-on or a standard item.

The fact is that Imation's claim of making inroads with most of the major computer makers just demonstrates an interesting new way to use the word "most".
