Mohan. Kemble & Other DellHeads,
I am not sure how superstitious you may be. I am superstitious and I found what happened to me at my local chinese restaurant in San Diego this past Friday afternoon rather interesting.
I have been sweating DELL over the last few days. The Nasdaq had been marching up steadily and Dell had been standing still or sliding slightly. I have the bulk of my investment in DELL. That explains my uneasiness over the last few days.
Anyway, I normally do not read my fortune cookie. I made the exception this past Friday and here is what it read :
' You will continue to take chances and be glad you did'

Now some of you may not consider owning Dell stock as taking a chance. However, in my case, I have the bulk of my investment in Dell and I have also just bought 23 calls for December. Combine the fact that the bulk of my investment is in Dell on top of the fact that Dell had not been moving the last few strong Nasdaq days on top of the fact that a historically very bullish editor of an option investment newsletter had just turned very cautious on Dell, you can understand my heightened level of superstition.

Is the above stuff the ramblings of a nervous investor? May be. I just felt like sharing what happened with the Dell Thread folks.
