nasdaq is the vse x 100...........actually you can throw in the nyse and the tse in the same mix, maybe not quite that extreme. you can bet if certain brokers have shs to dump you know the pump is coming. this often happens on new issues in the bond market if the broker is left holding a major position. the pressure is on their people to move it and fast. ed has the right idea, it is for us little guys to find out why they would be buying and not why they are selling. there are many reasons for the selling of a stock, tax-loss, profit position, boredom, option shs, flow through shs, etc. etc. etc. now buying is a bit of a different ball game. watch for insider trading and unusual accumulation. sometimes block trades give that away. interesting to note terence's net sellers and buyers. isn't it odd that cc leads the pack in selling and the retail houses of green line and ds who is also action direct are the net buyers. i guess the answer is to not get too greedy in a profit position because to most of these brokers it is just COMMISSIONS they are interested in. we tend to fall in love with a company and become reluctant sellers. i know it is my problem so i make it an unlevel playing field myself. anyways, what would we do without this game? i love the thrill, unfortunately not a winner that often, remember last fri the excitement that we all felt? sure doesn't last long these days.......
