Re Momentum Calculation -

A while back, I tried to write a Select-switching program (in Basic) based on that same type of calculation. But it was a failure. All of the parameters were adjustable, and I back-tested it on 5 years of Select fund data with lots of different parameter settings. Whenever I found settings that did real well on one year, the same settings would stink on another year. But it was trying to hold funds at least 30 days as long as a fund was in the top n performers and better than mm. Maybe instead, it should switch if not within a certain percentage of the best performer.

I hope to work on the program some more if I ever get time, and see if I can refine or add something to make it work better. I'd also like to try limiting it to 3-5 funds plus mm.
