Druss,
Good point. I just went back and read some posts, starting at 600, and skimmed through a weeks worth from the last runup. 20,30, no even more!!!!. Now they have convertible funding but there IS have a new GERN thread...
Those that don't remember the past...(shouldn't be surprised when an alligator bites them...or something like that.)

sorry you missed my point

there is a difference this time. (read breakthrough)

true, GERN might go to $5 before it goes higher. and there might be a big slip up with how they manage things from here. in a way i could care less. i am not in love with this stock or company or anything else with investing here.

but nothing like this has been done before. i just think equating this event with false hopes in other biotechs and other claims of a "breakthrough", is a mistake. it is easy to be cynical. the street is littered with companies (un)like this one.

eventually in some form the market will have to recognize the significance of what has happened. i just think it will be sooner than you might think. and i think from friday's close there is a better chance GERN will be higher by the end of the year than lower.

so, short away and good luck! just dont lump this (scientific) event in with all that other trash.
